Your Beginners Guide to Hypopressives

Pilates for Beginners

Pilates for Beginners

Pilates? What’s all the hype!?

Today over 12 million people enjoy the benefits of Pilates in the UK, with this trend expanding daily.  So, why all the fuss you might ask?

Many people come to Pilates through injury, rehabilitation and general aches and pains BUT doing Pilates before the onset of any of these is way more beneficial and can very much help in the prevention of all of the above.

The absolute benefits:-

Pilates is for any body and any body type; you don’t have to be fit or bendy to do Pilates.

The results of taking a regular Pilates class are very tangible and for some clients, they begin by wanting to:-

touch their toes

eliminate back pain

have stronger abs and core

sit on their heels

feel good about themselves

do something that is non-competitive

improve co-ordination

have better balance

do something that complements their sporting activities

run without constant injuries

lift and move with confidence

get stronger, fitter, feel good, move better

improve mental health and wellbeing too

For many of our clients it can be the first step on a better path, and one which is now well trodden..

Pilates is suitable for most people; whether you are new to fitness, are recovering from injury or surgery, or you may have great fitness or low levels of fitness – we love working with people who are at all stages of fitness.
